International Dyslexia Association                                             “Not all readers are leaders, but all leaders are readers” -Harry S Truman  I joined IDA after I became certified as a Wilson Reading System Teacher and Dyslexia Practitioner. This site features articles, research, and conferences that communicate information about dyslexia and how to help struggling readers.

 Kappa Delta Pi                                                                                    I became a member of KDP when I was a junior in college. Kappa Delta Pi is the International Honor Society in Education. The KDP chapter at Manhattan College was very strong and I was fortunate to meet so many passionate and dedicated educators through this organization.

 Sigma Delta Pi                                                                   Sigma Delta Pi is the National Collegiate Hispanic Honor Society. I became a member when I was a junior at Manhattan College. The faculty there were integral in my fascination with Spanish literature and culture.
